Mykonos

Mykonos is a famous Greek island especially for its white painted buildings, thriving cosmopolitan nightlife and sandy-gold gay beaches. Thousands of gay tourists visit this island every year and none get disappointed. The gay capital of the Mediterranean sea has a wonderful climate, clear-blue waters, never-ending parties at massive dance clubs with famous DJs and beautiful bodies flocking the beaches. It might be one of the more expensive islands of Greece but the cost is well worth it!

To get to Mykonos, you’ll have to get to Athens and then either fly for 30 minutes to Mykonos or take a ferry. There are two ferries that take 5 and 6 hours stopping at different locations.

To get to the beaches, you can take a 4x4 car, scooter or bus from Mykonos town to Plati Yalos and get a fishing boat (calques) to take you to the best beaches.

XLsior is one of the biggest circuit parties in Europe welcoming 30,000 gay travellers from all over the world and usually takes place in August.
